How one song gets taught
Five passes over the same song — so by the end you understand it inside and out, not just how to play along.

Sing-a-long
Learn the melody and lyrics by ear — no instrument required yet.

Chords
Play the song's core chord progression in a simple strum or comp pattern.

Scales & fills
Add the scale the song lives in, plus a few signature fills.

Melody
Play the actual vocal or lead melody on your instrument.

Improv
Solo over the changes using everything from the earlier levels.
Six months in, you're in a band.
Every student is placed in a Rock Band after six months on their instrument — four or five players, each on a different part, learning one song together.
Bands rehearse weekly and get the chance to perform on a real stage in Hawaii.
